DIOR 5-COLOUR IRIDESCENT EYESHADOW REVIEW AND SWATCH

I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about DIOR eyeshadows. Today, I finally got my first dior eyeshadow.

It’s NO. 609, Earth Reflection. There are 5 colours, and they are all neutral colours.

Include: Golden sheen beige colour

Brown taupe colour

Light pink colour

Dark chocolate brown colour

White highlight colour

The eyeshadows are all buttery and smooth.  The colour pay off is great. The swatches are on  the photos.

In Canada, it cost $60. It’s pretty expensive, but worth the money. You get what you’ve paid.

In my opinion, it’s better to get one expensive but good quality eyeshadows rather than you spend money on several cheap eyeshadows.

Essie nailpolish “Cute as a button” review

The spring of 2012 is coming soon, so I bought a spring color nailpolish on boxing day, which is Essie’s Cute as a button.

It’s a perfect coral color, and has a matte finish, which is gorgeous. I put two coats and one coat of topcoat.

Essie nailpolishs have good quality, they are expensive, but cheaper than OPI. I got Cute as a button when it was on sale on boxing day. It was buy one and get the second one on half price.

Can’t say enough about it, let’s watch photos directly.

Bath & body works candles review

In winter, I like to light candles. When talking about candles, it’s hard to not mentioning the Bath & body works candles. They are creamy, and the smells are plesant.

They have different collections in every season. Here, I will introduce the Chiristmas collection. I bought four candles when they have sales in store. The retail price of candles in Canada is 22.50$. I got them when it’s 25$ for two, and I have the coupon which gives me 20$ off. So I got 4 candles with 30$. It was a very good deal.

The scents are: Candied sugar plum, Winter garland, Frosted cranberry, and Mint chocolate. They are all winter scents, give people warm feelings. I like the Winter garland most, and like the Candied sugar plum least.

I am not good at discribing scent. The best way is to smell in the stores. All I can say is they are worthy to try, specially when they are on sale. But I find that there are still lots of good quality candles in drugstores.

New year purple glitter nailpolish combination

This Christmas, I tried one nailpolish combination, which are Sally Hansen complete salon manicure in the color “Anenome of Mine” and Sally Hansen Xtreme wear in the color “200 Strobe Light”. Both of them are not expensive. The Anenome of Mine is $7.69 , I got it on sale on the price of  $4.61. The Strobe Light is $3 something, I got is on last summer.

The Anenome of Mine is a deep matte purple color, with a little of redish downtone. The Strobe Light is a sheer clear nailpolish with multiple color of glitters.

I found this combination by accident. I put on one coat of the Anenome of Mine, and it was very opaque. Since it was on Christmas, I think that the dark matte purple color is a little bit boring for Christmas. So I put one coat of the Strobe Light, and I found this amazing combination.

When I wear this nailpolish combination, I got so many comments on it.

L’oreal color infaillible eyeshadow review

L’oreal has released the new eyeshadows “color infaillible 24H”.

The price is around 8 to 10 dollards. The color rage is wide, they have 10 shades. I got the pink one, which is called “Forever Pink”. But in my opinion, it’s like a champagne color. The color pay off is very nice, and the texture is amazing, it’s like you touch butter.

A lot of people has compared these new eyeshadows with the “Armani eyes to kill intense eyeshadow”, I think they are comparable. Their colors pay off, and also their packages are similar. The l’oreal ones are affordable.

They are good to try, I definitely gonna buy more.

ELF studio blush review

ELF means eyes, lips, and face. It’s a online makeup brand. ELF is very popular in beauty community.

ELF has some new lines now, which are studio line, mineral line and 24K line. The essential line is basic line. All the products in essential line are ONE dollard. Products in other lines are more expensive, such as three dollards or five dollards, but the quality is higher than essential line.

The ELF studio blushes are star products. The price is three dollards each. I have three of them, which are Tickled pink, Candid coral, and Mellow mauve.

Tickled pink is a natural pinky color. -Almost no shimmer.

Candid coral is a coral golden color. -Has most shimmer in these three shades.

Mellow mauve is a mauve color. -Has less shimmer.

All these three blushes have shimmers, but when put on skin, they are not visible, just have a tiny sheen.

The quality of these blushes is very nice. They are very creamy and buttery. Somebody compares them with Nars blushes, thinks they are dupes of the Nars blushes. In my opinion, they are worthy to own.

Mac nailpolish “Bad Fairy”

Mac came out the Disney Venomous Vellains collection on November 2010.

I picked up three things which are nailpolish “Bad Fairy”, lipgloss “Revenge is sweet” and a beauty powder “Briar Rose”.

Since Christmas is coming, I decided to wear a holiday look nail polish.

“Bad Fairy” is a glittery nailpolish which has duo finishes. It’s a rosy color with blue glitters and  flashes a brown red.

It’s a unique nailpolish, I didn’t see anywhere else. I’ve already used more than half a bottle!

Nars Deep Throat blush review and swatch

Nars is a makeup brand which is famous for her blushes, such as orgasm, super orgasm, deep throat, etc.

I like blushes, specially the natural pinky ones. Before, I’ve already heard tens of good comments on Nars Deep Throat blush. I finally got my hands on the Deep Throat blush on Monday when I used my Sephora Beautyinsider discount.

Deep Throat is a light pink color blush with a little bit of golden shimmer. When applying on face, the shimmer doesn’t show much on skin, which is nice.

Nars Deep Throat is good for any look, it’s a go-to blush. Whatever my eye makeup is, I can  use it without thinking. Even with a heavy hand, it looks natural on my face.
